Michael Bradley, a multi-talented musician, educator, and composer, is based in Richmond, Va. His professional journey began at the age of 19, and since then, he has been a key member of numerous bands in Richmond, including The Triple B Blues Band and the Soul Providers. Michael's versatility is evident in his leadership of various straight-ahead jazz groups, tailored for different events.

Michael is also frequently on call as a freelance musician and teacher. Michael has also played with well-known Richmond bands, such as Evolution of the Groove, Weekend Plans, and the Get Fresh Horns.

Michael's musical journey has been enriched by collaborations with world-class musicians such as Ingrid Jensen, Lee Musiker, and Matt Wilson. His talent has also led him to open for renowned touring groups like Local Natives, Glass Animals, and The Hunts. Notably, Michael has shared the stage with celebrity performers including Jason Mraz, Hanson, and Kori Withers.

As a composer/arranger, Michael has played his original music on various gigs and frequently works on new pieces. One of his big band charts, Honey Bourbon Blues, was premiered by the VCU Jazz Orchestra I. As an educator, Michael has been teaching one-on-one since 2019. He also has experience in teaching, mentoring, and working with children with special needs, especially those with ASD.

Michael graduated Magna cum Laude in May 2019 from VCU with a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies/Performance with a Saxophone Emphasis.
