Joshua Stone is a multifaceted music educator, composer, and producer known for designing and implementing innovative music curricula for students of all ages. He teaches beginning drums and guitar, as well as all levels of piano, combining technical skill with creative exploration to engage learners at every stage.
As a composer and music producer, Joshua’s work is broadcast internationally. He has conducted ensembles across Africa, Asia, North America, South America, and Europe for clients such as Nickelodeon and Hallmark Entertainment. His projects have been supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, reflecting both the quality and cultural significance of his work.
Joshua is the founder of GlobalBeatPartners, a cross-cultural music education initiative that develops curriculum programs in the United States, India, Gambia, Belgium, and Uganda. This program bridges cultural divides through music, fostering collaboration and understanding across continents.
His film scoring and production credits span an impressive range of clients, including BuzzFeed, 20th Century Fox, the Smithsonian Institution, CBS News, MTV Networks, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, A&E Biography, the White House, HBO, Discovery, Boeing, Kawasaki, MoMA, and Independence Hall.
