Talen Lee is a soulful and dynamic songbird whose journey into music began in her toddler years, swaying to the rhythm of R&B soul classics as her mother danced around the house. From composing melodies as a child to crafting her own compositions in college, Talen's love for music spans across genres.
Her musical odyssey took root in elementary school where she found solace in instruments, mastering the Viola and flute. Her dedication led her to traverse northern states for competitions, setting the stage for her remarkable talent.
Throughout high school, Talen's soprano voice soared in the concert choir, amassing over 15 awards in Maryland competitions. Eager to impart her passion, she embarked on a teaching journey, instructing elementary students even as she pursued her education.
Talen's commitment and talent earned her a coveted Music scholarship, propelling her to Virginia State University where she pursued a Vocal minor. Embracing every opportunity, she graced seminars and lent her voice to the Concert choir and Gospel chorale, sharing the stage with luminaries like Tye Tribbett, JJ Hairston, and Kirk Franklin.
A seasoned performer, Talen's repertoire spans multiple genres and 3 languages. Her mantra, "I believe that we all have a voice. We just have to exercise it," reflects her determination and vibrancy.
