Piano, Voice
Caroline has had a passion for music from an early age. She began playing piano at the age of 6, voice at the age of 12, and has continued her music education throughout her life, studying with various private instructors. Caroline studied piano performance at Virginia Commonwealth University, and currently studies piano and voice, with a concentration in ethnomusicology at the University of Virginia.
As a classically trained pianist and vocalist, Caroline enjoys all music from Bach and Mozart to Aretha Franklin and Elton John, with a special place in her heart for musical theater. Caroline has performed with various organizations across the east coast, including the Richmond Ballet, Westminster Choir College, the University of Virginia's University Singers, Spectrum Theatre, Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Character Works Theatre, and National City Christian Church in Washington, D.C.
Caroline's favorite thing about music is how it can move and unite people of any background. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing her students succeed, and how proud they are of their accomplishments! When taking lessons with Caroline, you can expect a warm and encouraging environment, and song choices and teaching styles tailored to suit you best. She can't wait to get to know you and learn about your unique goals and interests!
